Buying Spree
Once a year, and maybe more, I get the urge, no, the need to spend gobs and gobs of money.
It is often a convergence of events that create this overriding need.
This time the urge is a result of:
1) Moving out of a furnished apartment into an empty bedroom, thus requiring furniture.
- Hence the purchase today of the leaning desk and bookshelf system and two chairs from walmart online.
Many places have similar leaning desks but cost twice as much. Walmart is a beautiful thing.
2) The state of my golf game is near a breakthrough.
- Hence the need for bigger and better equipment. It's got to be the clubs!
Today, the purchase on Ebay of Mizuno MX-23 with dynalite gold S300 shafts for $250 under retail. Ebay is a beautiful thing.
Where will my itchy wallet take me next?

ps. i'm glad you've resumed your blog :) i've been wondering what you all have been up to!
You need to get the "Swivel Sweeper" next. I just bought it today. Read this review: http://www.kcbd.com/Global/story.asp?S=3679600
Cordless sweepers are so useful in apartments. The Shark (by Europro) used to be in the king, but i think the Swivel Sweeper may be a little better.
Oh yeah go to Sushi Yasuda.
