Dreaming of You

Last night I dreamt of you,

I dreamt of your head
Nuzzled between
My arm and my chest
Moving up and down
With the beat of my heart.

I dreamt of your breath
In my ear
Whispering feelings
Of mirth
Of longing
Of trust
All at once.

I dreamt of your warmth
And mine intertwined
Clinging together
Like the blankie you've had
Since the day you were born.

Last night I dreamt of you by my side
And when I woke,
You weren't there.

My People

There is nothing that makes me happier than finding the food of my people.
I'm not talking just any type of Chinese food, but the food of my grandfather.
Fuzhou. The food from this region is hard to find in restaurants. There is one restaurant in Los Angeles. There is a street in New York. There is a restaurant in Amsterdam. Now I have found a place in Stuttgart that serves Fuzhou style wontons.
Awesome stuff. My favorite actually.

Stuttgart and I have made peace.
