New Records

This weekend, I lowered my golf handicap to the lowest it has ever been. by shooting the best score I've ever played. An 84.
What brought about this increase in skill? Why new equipment of course! I purchased a new putter on Saturday and have been working on a new putting stroke.

The results? Three birdies over the front nine. If I only parred the two par 5s I would have shot 1 under for the front.
Instead, I shot a 39 which is still pretty darn good for me.

A weekend away

I spent this weekend away from NYC and it just made my heart grow fonder of my current home.
When did I start thinking of NYC as home?
I don't think I ever felt that Amsterdam was my home.
Maybe it's cause I have great friends, old and new, here.
Maybe it's cause I actually get my mail here.
Maybe it's cause I have family nearby.

Whatever it is, I find NYC to be a special place.
