Ageing

I woke up this morning,
With all the lights still on,
With TV blaring,
And my alarm not.

I passed out on my bed,
Sideways and on top,
Of the hotel comforter.

This isn't the first time.

Is it any wonder?
That I awake,
Sore from nothing,
Eyes swollen,
Bags darkening
At an alarming rate.

Ageing accelerated,
By the ravages of
Pollution, lethargy, and exhaustion from over work.
Aint that a bitch?
